The Liepāja Theatre will host the premiere of Ödön von Horváth's play "Tales from the Vienna Woods," directed by Elmārs Seņkovs. The production tells the story of a young couple, Marianne and Alfred, who abandon their wealthy partners for love, despite rising inflation and societal pressures. Written in 1931, the play remains surprisingly relevant today, depicting a society where public image trumps truth and simplistic solutions are sought for complex problems. The cast includes Santa Breikša, Rolands Beķeris, Karīna Tatarinova, Anda Albuže, Everita Pjata-Gertnere, Anete Rimkus, Inese Kučinska, Armands Kaušelis, Signe Dancīte, Valts Skuja, Kaspars Kārkliņš, Sandis Pēcis, Artūrs Irbe, and Kārlis Artejevs.
