Singer Aleksandra Špicberga and pianist Rihards Plešanovs invite you to the concert performance "Latvijas pastkartes" (Latvian Postcards), dedicated to Latvian music. The program features Latvian compositions of various generations and genres, original interpretations, an unusual instrumental lineup, and light scenography. Rihards Plešanovs will perform piano music by Emīls Dārziņš, Imants Zemzaris, and Gundars Pone, while Aleksandra Špicberga will join him for Pēteris Plakidis' song cycle and Uldis Stabulnieks' solo songs. During the concert, Hammond organ virtuoso Atis Andersons and percussionist Ernests Mediņš will join them to perform arrangements of Latvian folk songs, as well as melodies by Raimonds Pauls, Imants Kalniņš, and other composers in a jazz-infused style.
