The one-act play “LOJALITĀTES” (Loyalties) is a carousel of thoughts, based on motifs from Delphine de Vigan's work and directed by Endīne Bērziņa. Three actors bring to life a story about the invisible bonds of loyalty that connect us to both the living and the dead. The play centers on twelve-year-old Tea, who seeks solace in alcohol, her friend Matiss, who is drawn into her dangerous secret, and teacher Elēna, who cannot escape her childhood ghosts and becomes obsessed with saving the girl. Their thoughts, memories, and hidden wounds spin in an unstoppable carousel, searching for an answer to how far we are willing to go to protect those we love.
