The exhibition "Cycle of the Year" by Genovefa Anna Lilienšteina, a resident of the Riga social care center "Stella maris", is on display. The artist, who has maintained her passion for drawing, painting, and handicrafts for over eight decades, reflects the beauty of nature and a keen observation of the world in her works. The exhibition features 12 paintings, one for each month of the year, complemented by 12 decorative pillows. These pieces illustrate nature's transformations throughout the year, from spring blooms to winter peace, telling a story of time's flow and the power of creativity to inspire at any stage of life. The artist paints natural landscapes, seasonal moods, flowers, sea themes, and ships, the latter connected to her family history, using acrylic and oil techniques, as well as various handicrafts.
