The Riga municipality invites residents to a free performance titled “Diskri... Kas?” (Discri... What?), created by actor and comedian Jānis Skutelis as part of the Ministry of Welfare's campaign “Nolaid slieksni” (Lower the Threshold). The performance humorously addresses everyday prejudices and situations where words, assumptions, or attitudes can create barriers for others. Through witty observations, the audience will be encouraged to reflect on inclusive and respectful attitudes in society. Before the main performance, attendees can participate in three sensory stations to experience the visible and invisible challenges faced by others in their daily lives. Attendance requires a pre-obtained invitation. Organizers also provide the option to request additional support, such as sign language interpretation.
