The Vidzeme committee of the "Latvian Red Cross" invites residents of Smiltene municipality to Health Days in Rauna and Palsmane. During the event, attendees can free of charge check basic health indicators, undergo express tests, and receive a brief consultation from medical staff. Participants will have their blood pressure and pulse measured, blood oxygen levels determined with a pulse oximeter, and cholesterol and blood sugar levels checked. They can also find out their weight, height, and body mass index. Additionally, residents can anonymously and confidentially undergo express tests for viral hepatitis B and C, HIV, and syphilis, with consultations provided before and after testing. For more accurate test results, it is recommended to have only a light breakfast or fast for three hours before testing. No prior registration is required to participate.
