Everyone is invited to participate in a free online lecture on oncological diseases and their prevention. The lecture will be led by experienced family doctor Dr. Rūta Plaude-Dedele, who will explain key issues regarding health preservation and disease prevention. Participants will learn about common types of oncological diseases, risk factors, the importance of early diagnosis, state screening programs, and daily habits that help reduce the risk of illness. The lecture aims to raise public awareness about the importance of prevention, emphasizing that timely action and knowledge can be crucial for maintaining health. The event is organized by the association “Gribu būt” in cooperation with Tukums municipality as part of an ESF+ project.
