The mixed choir “Spārni” of the Sigulda Devons Culture Centre celebrates its 35th anniversary with a concert titled “The Song I Am In”. Under the direction of conductors Līga Ādamsone and Valters Veckaktiņš, the concert will feature songs by Latvian composers. The choir's journey began in 1991 as the youth choir “Mārtiņbērni” under Līga Ādamsone, evolving over the years to become “Spārni”. They have performed at Song Festivals, the World Choir Games, Nordic Song Festivals, and various venues across Europe. Former singers, choir friends, families, and anyone for whom song is a feeling are especially welcome.
