Liepāja will host the 19th Latvian Open Winter Swimming Championship, which also serves as a stage of the International Winter Swimming Association (IWSA) World Cup. Winter swimmers from Latvia and around the world are invited to gather at Beberliņi reservoir to compete for top honors in various disciplines. The competition will take place in a specially constructed six-lane pool, offering distances ranging from 25 meters freestyle to endurance swims of up to 450 meters. For those wishing to enjoy winter swimming without competitive pressure, folk class distances without timekeeping will also be available.
