A song story concert by Boriss Rezņiks, titled “Pasaulīt, pasaulīt” (Little World, Little World), will take place. This song story, originally created for the composer's 60th birthday, is now reborn with new voices and a contemporary spirit, while retaining its original truthfulness and emotion. It tells the story of six young students from the Rīga Cultural Workers Technical School in the 1980s, depicting their daily lives, first loves, and ambitions. They sing about love, the world, and a future they believe will be different, drawing inspiration from poets and musicians such as Aleksandrs Čaks, Imants Kalniņš, and bands like Līvi, Eolika, and Katedrāle. The narrative explores whether youthful dreams and idealism can withstand the test of time. Valdis Pavlovskis is the libretto author and director.
