An educational cinema workshop for children aged two and up will take place at the Smiltene Library's Children's Department, featuring the beloved animated characters Lupatiņi. Offered by the animation film studio "Atom Art," the 45-minute session will take children on a journey of imagination and movement. They will watch the latest animated short films and explore answers to important daily questions, such as how to combat boredom, how to tell time, and why handwashing is crucial. Participants will also learn about the creation of animated characters and discover creative possibilities. The Lupatiņi characters—Zeķīte, Cimdiņš, Lakatiņš, and Spilventiņš—are fabric children created by writer Inese Zandere and textile artist Ūna Laukmane. Admission to the event is free of charge.
