The association “Ģimenes Šūpulis” invites Valmiera municipality residents to its traditional “Family Days,” offering three practical workshops designed to foster self-organization and self-sufficiency skills, and strengthen community ties. Participants will have the opportunity to restore wooden furniture under the guidance of master Gatis Preimanis, learn the basics of biodynamic farming and compost creation with Dace Zariņa, and explore fruit and vegetable fermentation, including tasting and preparing their own jar, led by Rūta Freimane. Participation in the workshops is free of charge, supported by the Valmiera municipality, and all materials, except for the wooden item to be restored, will be provided.
