The Valmiera Drama Theatre presents the play “The Lieutenant of Inishmore,” described as a very dark, possibly a comedy. The cast includes Aksels Aizkalns, Aigars Apinis, Rūdis Bīviņš, Artis Jančevskis, Januss Johansons, Mārtiņš Liepa, and Klinta Reinholde. The play explores what could be stronger than a true Irish throat-slitter's love for his homeland, father, mother, and family, as well as his sense of duty and justice.
