The Mūrmuiža People's University session will focus on "People's University in the 21st Century," exploring the legacy of Pauls Pētersons, Zenta Mauriņa, and Konstantīns Raudive. The discussion will cover the place of disability in Latvia's cultural landscape, the role and development opportunities of People's Universities and non-formal education, and the accessibility of cultural heritage and institutions. Gundega Lapiņa will speak about Pauls Pētersons and Zenta Mauriņa, while Juris Visockis, Māra Žeikare, and Lība Bērziņa will share their insights. A book stand from "Jumava" publishing house will be available during the event. Admission is free of charge.
