A storytelling and discussion afternoon on intersectional discrimination will take place in Ogre as part of the Ministry of Welfare's “Nolaid slieksni” (Lower the Threshold) campaign. The event, structured as a “living library,” will feature two individuals sharing their personal experiences with discrimination due to age, gender, and/or disability, for example, in the job market or when accessing services. Following the stories, participants will engage in dialogue circles to better understand the origins of prejudice and explore solutions for reducing unequal treatment. Attendance is free, but prior registration is required. The Ogre Central Library is accessible for people with mobility impairments, offering a ramp, a lift to the second floor, and adapted restrooms. Free parking is also available.
