Pianist Vestards Šimkus will perform a concert dedicated to the romantic piano music of Franz Liszt. During the concert, Šimkus will play Liszt's compositions and share stories about the composer and his music, aiming to help the audience understand its magic. Šimkus was the first to play the venue's "Mignon" grand piano in 2021, which was restored by Jānis Kalniņš. Liszt's music inspired Šimkus at the age of eight to pursue piano playing and classical music.
