The special musical evening “Sēd uz sliekšņa pasaciņa…” is dedicated to the 160th birthday of the outstanding Latvian poet Aspazija. The concert will feature the virtuoso guitarist Mārcis Auziņš and the unique Beāte Zviedre, who will set Aspazija's poetry to music. They will perform melodies created by Jānis Lūsēns, Raimonds Pauls, and Zigmārs Liepiņš, inspired by Aspazija's poetry, as well as their own composed soundscapes. Guitar strings, voice, and poetic words will merge into a single musical story, allowing the audience to see and feel Aspazija's world anew, offering a subtle, mysterious, and modern sound. Attendees are invited to surrender to the power of Aspazija's words and the special encounter of two exceptional musicians, where poetry becomes music and music becomes a feeling.
