The Riga Porcelain Museum is hosting a creative workshop titled "Varones" in November, dedicated to the celebration of Latvia's independence. Participants, aged 7 and up, are invited to artistically reflect on the ideas of Latvia's independence and honor individuals, particularly women, who have contributed to the nation's development. The workshop will utilize decal technique to create compositions on porcelain items, which will become durable decorations after firing. Ready-made thematic decals are also available. The participation fee varies based on the chosen item's value and includes the item, decorating materials, museum educator consultation, and firing. The workshop is open to individuals or groups of up to 12 people and is accessible to individuals with functional disabilities, including those in wheelchairs. It is led by museum educators Vita Lukstiņa and Astra Ratkeviča.
